1) Portfolio Reviews are as easy as  1-2-3! This asynchronous review is completed the same day I receive your Portfolio (during normal business hours).

Portfolio Reviews involve:

  (1) Reviewing samples of the student's work over the last year (4-6 Samples of student work in each subject) - something from the beginning, middle, and the end of the year to demonstrate their progress in skills/abilities. 

(2) Reviewing your log of educational activities (4-6 samples of your calendar/daily log/weekly log/lesson plans <-- there are many ways to keep a log of your students' educational activities; I will review whatever you have!) 

(3) Reviewing your reading list (a list of curriculum books used, and books that the student has read over the year) 

Portfolio Reviews are $45 per student.

Portfolio Reviews

If your student took their classes through FLVS Flex (or another 3rd-party provider - i.e., Time for Learning, Abeka), you can download a copy of the FLVS transcripts (or grade report/report card) and email to me for review.  From that, I will be able to review the classes taken over the last year and the grades received, which allows me to determine progress and sign off on the form. 

For FLVS Flex students: the transcript I need can be downloaded from the FLVS dashboard. Go to the student dashboard, click the four bars in the top left corner, go to Student Records, Cumulative Academic Report, then click Print Unofficial Transcripts (it prints it to PDF). Just email me the PDF, and I can review it and draw up your annual evaluation documents.
